This week on Non-Diegetic instead of your regularly scheduled programming, I interviewed two directors! 

Interview 1
Dustin Feneley is the director, producer and writer of Stray (2018), a crowdfunded film set in the desolate areas of northern and central Otago. Dustin has received multiple accolades for his films which have been shown at a hundred film festivals world-wide including Cannes, Toronto and Moscow. Kieran Charnock won the Silver Saint best actor award at Moscow for his role in Stray.

 

Interview 2
Jack Woon accomplished Director, Producer, Writer, Cinematography, Editor, the list goes on, who works out of Unko Films a studio on Princess St right here in Dunedin. He has worked on multiple feature-length films as well as some short films to critical acclaim and works closely also with NHNZ based also in Dunedin.
