The DPAG Late Breakfast is a weekly 3 hour arts and culture radio show airing every Saturday from 11am to 2pm. Hosted by g.bert (with regular visits from the inimitable Carl A. Mears) the Late Breakfast brings you in-depth interviews, reviews and features which take the time to delve into the contemporary art scene, resolutley rejecting the generalised media concision and sound-bites which dominate what elsewhere pass as media and masquerade as 'radio'. Each week, g.bert engages substantially with 3 or 4 guests, reviews or features and brings an eclectic musical sensibility to his sometimes eccentric playlists.
Somewhat fuzzy in both appearance and demeanor, g.bert (aka D J footnote) ums and ahs his way
through the conceptual universe, laconically traversing the airwaves from Radio One's own studio
to whatever public or intimate space your transistor (or streaming web device) occupies in your
Saturday morning. Dribbling an aborted academic career and numbed by an ever-deepening debt, g.bert's
digressive conversations are sometimes interesting. Every fortnight or so he is joined by the
inimitable....Mr Mears.

Carl A. Mears hailed from New Haven, Connecticut, U.S.A. sometime in the mid-sixties. He gleaned
a lot in the ambiance of a great university, and from its superior art-collections and libraries
gained a love of culture, learning, and librarians. He is a Veteran of a Foreign War, and served
in a junior officers mess somewhere or elsewhere. Until recently peripatetic, he lives now at
Walden Pond. He enjoys his own micro-commentary on life and on the arts where he hypothesizes
and hyperventilates fortnightly. Sometimes he writes things on paper, sometimes on walls.
